Finally! I am able to get into blogger so I can tell you about this tasty pasta dish I prepared. The Internet connection is not up to speed, but it’s almost there. Thank you to Mr. G for helping fix the issue.
Sausage Fettuccine in a Tomato Cream Sauce
Adapted from Cooking with Christine
2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 small onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 lb. sage flavored ground pork
1 cup heavy cream
16 oz. no salt added tomato sauce
1 Tbsp. dried oregano
1 lb. fettuccine, cooked
1 cup Parmesan, grated
1. Heat olive oil in a large pot. Add onion and garlic and cook until softened. Add sausage and brown. Drain sausage on a towel-lined plate.
2. Return sausage back to pot and add cream. Simmer for 5 minutes.
3. Add tomato sauce, oregano, and fettuccine and let simmer for 10 minutes. Add Parmesan on top.
