October 6, such a wonderful day….because it’s my birthday! Because I like to give as well as receive I have hosting my first giveaway!
While at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, I picked up 2 festival cookbooks: one for me and one for a lucky winner.
This year’s cookbook features 50 of the most requested recipes. Some of my favorites are the Lamb Slider (Wellington, New Zealand), Cheddar Cheese Soup (Montreal, Canada), and the Spanakopita (Athens, Greece). Beer and wine selections are also listed.
To enter the giveaway, answer the following question in the comments section and make sure you leave a method for me to contact you if you win (blog address or e-mail address):
What country would you visit just for the food alone?
One winner will be chosen by random.org’s integer generator based on the number of your comment below. The deadline to enter is Friday, October 9 at 12 noon EST.

Great question…Italy for both food and shoes!
It would be very hard for me to decide between Italy, France and Greece. My grandmother was Greek, so I'd like to experience some of the food I haven't had already. Italian is my favorite and I'd love to learn more about French cooking. 3-way tie? ;-D
What country would you choose??
Oh, and I forgot to say happy birthday!!!! I hope you're having a wonderful day.
Hands down, it would be Italy. Pizza, pasta, gelato. Yum!!!

I would have to say Germany. I love me some German food. Italy would be a close second.

I would visit Greece hands down! Between the pastries and cheeses….YUM!
Italy or Greece. I haven't experienced as much greek food as I would like, so I guess that would be the top choice!

Happy Birthday!! I would say Italy for sure (and we just came back from a 16-day tour this past June)–and it was heaven for foodies like us. France was wonderful as well, but for a country that I have never visited, I would say Hong Kong.
Happy Birthday! I would have to say Italy. Driving through the countryside eating in little villages. Having old women that speak no english teaching me how to make pasta. What a dream!
Happy Belated Birthday to You. I have been to Paris and loved it. For the food alone, I would DEF go back.
I just read your Thursday post too. That looks like my kind of festival!
I'd go to Taiwan just for the food. Of all the countries I've been to, that was one place where the food was always good, and I never got tired of it.
